Patient Information & Preparation

Your First Visit to Eternal Podiatry

We aim to make your first appointment as welcoming, clear, and beneficial as possible. Here is a simple checklist to help you prepare.

What to Bring

  • Your Regular Footwear: Bring your everyday shoes, work boots, and running sneakers. Wear patterns provide vital clues about your biomechanics.
  • Previous Orthotics / Insoles: If you currently or previously wore insoles, chemist arch supports, or custom devices, please bring them.
  • Medical Imaging & Reports: Any recent X-rays, diagnostic ultrasounds, CT scans, or MRI reports for your feet, ankles, or knees.
  • Referral Paperwork (If Applicable): Private patients do not require a referral. If claiming via Medicare EPC or DVA, please bring your GP letter.
  • Health Insurance / Medicare Card: For instant on-the-spot electronic HICAPS claiming.

What to Wear

Please wear or bring comfortable, loose-fitting clothing such as athletic shorts, loose trousers, or activewear that can easily be rolled up above your knees.

Why is clothing important?
Dr. Arvind evaluates the entire kinetic chain—including ankle articulation, tibia rotation, and knee alignment—during your physical gait assessment.

If you are coming directly from work in formal business attire, you are welcome to bring a pair of shorts to change into in our clinic suites.
